XRP ETFs Are Doing Something No Other Altcoin Fund Has Managed in 2025

XRP exchange-traded funds have now recorded four consecutive months of positive inflows, the longest active streak of any crypto ETF product on the market right now.

In July alone, US-listed XRP funds pulled in $27.29 million, according to SoSoValue data. That is nearly double what Solana products attracted during the same period. Solana, widely considered XRP's most credible rival for institutional attention, managed just $14.62 million. Chainlink followed at $4.54 million, with Hedera products adding $3 million to round out the altcoin category.

Bitcoin and Ethereum still dominate the overall ETF landscape in raw dollar terms. But the story burying the lede here is not who leads the leaderboard. It is who keeps showing up every single month when most rival funds are stalling or bleeding.

The Streak That Should Be Getting More Attention

Four months of unbroken inflows sounds modest until you compare it to the broader altcoin ETF landscape, where consistency is rare. Most products outside Bitcoin and Ethereum see lumpy, sentiment-driven flows that spike on hype and dry up fast. XRP funds are not doing that.

This suggests something more durable than retail FOMO. Institutional allocators moving into XRP ETFs tend to do so with a thesis, not a tweet. Four months of follow-through capital points to conviction, not curiosity.

The timing also matters. XRP has spent years in legal limbo following the SEC lawsuit against Ripple. That cloud has largely lifted. Institutional money tends to lag clarity by one or two quarters, which means the inflow pattern we are seeing now could still be in its early innings as compliance desks finish their internal approvals.

What the Numbers Are Actually Saying

July's $27.29 million figure is not a blowout number by Bitcoin ETF standards. But in the context of altcoin funds, it is dominant. No other altcoin product came close, and several are likely fighting for relevance as investor attention consolidates around products with track records.

Chainlink and Hedera are collecting millions, but they are not building streaks. Solana has the narrative and the developer momentum, yet it pulled in half of what XRP managed in July. That gap is worth watching.

What Crypto Holders Should Watch Right Now

If you hold XRP or are watching the altcoin ETF space, the metric to track is whether this streak extends into August. A fifth consecutive month of inflows would be a significant signal that institutional demand has found a floor. Watch SoSoValue's weekly data closely. If inflows stall or reverse, that tells you the streak was a post-legal-clarity catch-up trade. If they hold, the case for sustained institutional rotation into XRP gets considerably harder to dismiss.
